What happens when a new building is required for a school? Since more educational systems would find it difficult to find the money to support it, they might have to rely on the generosity of parents and local companies for support. In many cases most of the donations will be made up from several large donations and a few smaller ones to make up the ‘loose change’ so to speak.

Do your research into the companies that you are approaching for the larger donations and take the time to present them with a well researched proposal. You are more likely to succeed if they can see that you have taken the time and effort to properly look into everything. Think of all the questions these executives may ask you and come up with several well thought out answers to each of them. In essence, be prepared!
