How I joined the Internet industry and never looked back - Part 1

NetSuite Login costing you too much?

I am repeatedly astounded by the masses of people of all ages and backgrounds who are currently moving toward the net to make a living. I manage a collection of focused e-commerce companies which as a group pay me significantly more money than it was possible to earn being a contractor. I am not saying that I have to work less hours but I don’t have to travel to my place of work any longer, which is an added bonus. I am much happier with my life and what’s more I am earning a better income.

Minding multiple companies is a great sensation, but I have had to figure out ways of being more productive and refining my working practices. To track my leads and prospects and the accounts of my companies, I use a small number of internet applications - you must have excellent small business management software to stay on top of the numbers and let you focus finding and look after customers. I have a Quickbooks login and a NetSuite login. I can operate these internet properties from from my home or when I am travelling and they make it easy for me to see all of the companies activities in real time.

Using my NetSuite login I am able to track all of the activity on my shopping carts and monitor the effects of my Google Adwords projects that attract buyers to my online stores. I have got rid of Microsoft Office which substituted with a Google Account containing all of the software I need, with mail, word processing and spreadsheets. I can use these packages from anywhere.

In terms of improving myself and broadening my skill set, I have found an amazing amount of free and amazing value for money information which I have enthusiastically studied. One of the most amazing lessons I have learned is how to spot and farm out time consuming operations, to businesses who can do this quicker and cost effectively. I can precisely identify the moment at which I passed my earnings level to my realising of the benefits of sub contracting some of the work taking up most of my time, to me increasing my cashflow to above that of my income whilst in permanent employment.

In Part 2, I get into detail about how I work.
